ABOUT NPF DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION
The Directorate of Police Education was established in 1986 primarily as a welfare scheme to cater for the educational needs of children of Police Officers and men whose education had suffered as a result of incessant transfers of their parents.
The Mustard seed of 1986 has now grown in leaps and bounds with 134 Police Children Schools and 27 Secondary schools located in Minna Niger State, Mini-Okoro Port-Harcourt, Akure Ondo State, Ukana Akwa-Ibom, Shanono-Kano, Mani-Katsina, Calabar Cross-River, Isu-Nwangele Imo State, Gusau Zamfara State, Igbo-ora Oyo State, Lafia Nasarawa State, Karau-Karau Zaria, Bida Niger State, Tum Kagoro Kaduna, Area 11 Abuja, Obeaku-Ndoki Abia State, Ballah & Kulende, Kwara State, Daura Katsina State, Damaturu Yobe State, Dawakin-Kudu Kano State, Kumo Gombe State, Sagamu Ogun State, Isua-Akoko Ondo State, Nami Niger State and Ogodo Kogi State
The Directorate of Police Education located in 3rd Floor, Force Headquarters, Louis Edet-House, Area 11, Abuja with a Secretariat complex, situated at M.D. Abubakar (Mopol) Barracks, off Abuja-Suleja Express Road, Dei-Dei, Abuja.

The Force Education Officer (FEO)
The Directorate of Police Education is headed by an Assistant Commissioner of Police. The current Director of Education is ACP IBIDAPO OLUDARE OLUBIYI, psc.
